He remains one of the most productive players in the NHL,ui who collected 94 points (42 goals) during last season in Pittsburgh.
What's interesting about the Penguins captain is that he will be a free agent next summer if he can't agree to terms on a new contract with the organization that drafted him in 2005.

McGuire spoke with Pat Brisson, Crosby's agent.
Brisson began by saying that Crosby is “a very loyal person”… but he also said that Crosby wants a chance to win again, and the Penguins may not have what it takes to let Crosby win another Stanley Cup.
There is no discussion at the moment about a new contract, but it could happen in July.
