Ottawa Senators Thomas Chabot reportedly included the Montreal Canadiens on a list of teams he doesn't want to be traded to.

That's what Sean Simpson of The Sick Podcast had to say. The other teams will be the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Dallas Stars, Vegas Golden Knights, Nashville Predators, Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, and Anaheim Ducks.

On Monday, Chabot had to present the Sens with a list of 10 teams. This partial non-movement clause was activated for the first time, and will be in effect until the agreement is concluded.

In 2024-25, the Sainte-Marie-du-Beauce native will play in the fifth year of an eight-year contract that will see him earn $8 million annually.

Chabot was drafted by the Senators in the first round (18th overall) of the 2015 amateur auction. He established himself in the National League in 2016-17. Since then, he has scored 62 goals and 197 assists for 259 points in 432 games.
