The intrusion into Rishi Sunak's house comes in the midst of campaigning for the assembly elections scheduled for July 4.

British police announced on Tuesday (June 25) that they had arrested four men who broke into Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's property in the north of England amid campaigning for a general election scheduled for July 4. “Four of our officers were with them within a minute of entering.” At the property located in the town of Kirby Sixton, he added.
The suspects are aged between 20 and 52 and hail from various cities across the country. “They are still in custody (…) investigations are underway”, the police further clarified. Video posted on X by Youth Demand group – He claims to be campaigning for a ban on arms sales to Israel and the cancellation of oil and gas licenses awarded by the conservative government from 2021. – It shows a young man trespassing on the property and defecating in the lake.
“We have a lot to thank the Tories for [le parti du Premier ministre] : Collapsing schools, polluted rivers, the destruction of the NHS [le service public de santé]“quipped the teenager in question, quoted in a press release.
This is not the first time Rishi Sunak's house has been targeted. Last summer, Greenpeace activists covered it with “oil black” sheets to protest the Conservative government's decision to grant new oil and gas licenses.
