The Nora and Rumi Garden, a “space of peace and reflection” built in memory of the two girls who were murdered in July 2020, was born in the backyard of the Deuil-Jeunesse organization.

Romy’s giant dollhouse, blocks in the Minecraft video game Norah and a whole bunch of colorful relaxation areas… This is what you can expect when entering the garden set up in the form of two little girls.
“It is now a place of reflection for young and old in our organization who are going through painful moments,” Deuil-Jeunesse President and Founder said at the venue’s opening.
“This space of trust and emotion gives everyone the right to experience their own drama,” she continues.
The girls’ mother, Amelie Lemieux, gave a touching testimonial about her children’s lives for the occasion. Then I proceeded to cut the rope, announcing the official opening of the venue.
