Canada, which faces China and Russia’s plans for the Far North, is hoping for a partnership with London to strengthen its security.

“UK comes forward to help Canada protect Arctic”, Radio Canada recently said, while showing the Royal Navy submarine on the ice of the North Pole. London lends its expertise and military resources to Ottawa, which helps maintain its sovereignty in the far north. In an interview with Radio Canada, General Nick Carter, Chief of Staff of the British Army, proposed.“Help Canada do what it is supposed to do as an Arctic (…). I believe we have military means, especially in maritime matters, useful knowledge for Canada. I think this cooperation will be useful for both countries. The UK will send its nuclear submarines to the North Pole to counter the infiltration of China and Russia.
