The PlayStation Live online store is now available in the UK and Germany

Update (10/11/21): Following the launch of the PlayStation Direct in Germany on Monday, Sony’s online store is now available in the UK:

Original story: For many trusted PS5 buyers, the PlayStation Direct is one of the most reliable ways to purchase one of Sony’s wanted consoles. As the name suggests, this is an online store through which the company sells PS5 consoles directly – and many other products. While this is a great option, it is only available in the US, but it looks like PS Direct is finally coming to European regions.

A tweet from the PlayStation UK indicates that it is starting to appear in the Store area:

So, with Germany starting today, PS Direct will finally be coming to Europe. As the tweet notes, the other countries that will gain access soon are the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, although there is currently no link date. However, it seems that more information will be released soon.

This is good news because so far European PlayStation fans have had to keep up to date with various online stores, and when the next PS5 stock arrives, it has proven to be incredibly tricky – especially when the console sells out in a matter of minutes. . While Store Direct does not guarantee you a PS5, registering your interest and joining their queue system offers the best opportunity to at least fight back.
