Los Angeles Kings forward Brendan Lemieux allegedly punched Ottawa Senator Brady Tkachuk after a fight between the two opponents on Saturday in the final minutes of the game between the two teams.
After their fight, Tkachuk showed his bloodstained hand to the rulers.

“This is the only time I’m going to talk about this incident,” Tkachuk first said in a post-match press conference. It was the most disgusting thing anyone could do. This guy, you can ask all of his teammates, nobody wants to play with him. He’s a bad teammate who only thinks of himself.
“This guy is a real joke. He shouldn’t be in the league. No other team wants him, he’ll still be begging himself to play in the NHL, but no other team wants him.”
“It’s outrageous,” Tkachuk added. Even children don’t. Children do it. I don’t know what he was thinking, he’s an idiot. He has nothing in his head. Bad boy, bad player, what a joke he is.”
In addition to receiving a large penalty kick for both fights, both Tkachuk and Lemieux received a minor penalty.
Lemieux has already received two suspensions since the beginning of his career. However, the last time there was a sting incident in the NHL — in 2018, when Pierre-Edouard Bellemare bit into a PK Subban — no additional penalties were issued.
