A 15-year-old played the protagonist on the weekend as she rescued a woman who was choking in a car at McDonald’s.
The Sydney Rally’s shift was usually on Saturday at McDonald’s in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
“She made coffee, and several drinks. Lunchtime traffic, as usual,” she told CNN.

After giving part of the steering wheel control to a customer, the girl realized that the woman was choking on chicken sauce.
“She was coughing a lot. Then she looked like she was vomiting. Her daughter who was in the passenger seat seemed worried. She explained that when I was like, ‘Oh no, she’s choking.'”
As she passes through the window of the airline service, the teen orders her manager and the customer’s daughter to call for help.
Sydney said she was familiar with the Heimlich maneuver, taking first aid courses to be a babysitter when she was 11.
She said, “Everything I learned came back all of a sudden!”
Since the maneuver didn’t work the first few times, she asked her colleagues to come and help her.
“We all managed to get the kisses out of his throat.”
The client was very shocked, but grateful for the help of the little girl.

The teen’s parents, Tom and Stephanie, told CNN they thought this moment could be stressful for their daughter with autism spectrum disorder.
“We thought it would be a challenge for her,” they said proudly, “but she did it like a champ.”
Sydney chiefs also emphasized his courage and responsiveness in a case that could have been fatal.
