For several days now, even several weeks, the Montreal Canadiens have looked more like a Laval missile. With all the injuries and the many cases of COVID-19 on the team, interruptions from activities are inevitable.
This break was finally achieved, and it will last for 12 days.
All activities of The Canadian and The Rocket are now suspended until January 6 to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The rest of the break is due to the various home games that have been postponed to later dates.
In short, this break will allow the various players in CH to recover from their injuries and complete the isolation period of the COVID-19 protocol.
This break will also allow Habs employees to begin interviews for the team’s next general manager position.
In fact, the Canadian can no longer wait, and must appoint a new General Manager, if he does not want to be robbed by the Vancouver Canucks or the Chicago Blackhawks, who are also looking for a new General Manager.
As we remember, the candidates will be interviewed by the Jeff Molson Board of Directors made up of Jeff Gorton (Vice President of Hockey Operations), Michael Andlauer (One of the Team Owners) and Bob Jenny (Former Team Legend).
The names already on the list of potential nominees are: Patrick Roy, Matthew Dartch, Mark Dennis, Daniel Brier, Kent Hughes, Stephan Kintal, Emily Castongway and Daniel Sauvageo.
Remember, according to our sources, CH employees have already met Mark Dennis. He might have been interviewed in person since he’s part of the team bubble.
All of these candidates will be interviewed during an initial interview session.
After that, a second round of interviews will take place with three or four candidates still in the race. These candidates will be the most influential during their first interview.
Finally, CH’s new CEO should be appointed in mid-January.

Note: I didn’t say I support his return, I was making a point. 😂
