But Charlotte and Beranger, both 32, didn’t stop there. In fact, they each gave birth to a girl and her two children were the same size, 46 cm, according to France 3.
Another coincidence: Mia Rose, daughter of Beranger, weighs the same as her mother when she was born, 2.6 kilograms (5.7 pounds). The other girl, Alba, weighs 2.8 kilograms (6.1 pounds) which is exactly what her mother Charlotte weighed when she was born.
Moreover, the two mothers almost gave birth in the same hospital. Charlotte was admitted to the same hospital, but had to be transferred because there were a lot of deliveries that day.
The two girls spent their first night outside the hospital in the same cradle, which their mother used when they were born.
The two families live 10 minutes’ walk away. Charlotte and Berenger hope their daughters will grow up together and see each other as often as possible.
