She announced that the 67-year-old comedian suffers from aphasia, a condition that affects cognitive abilities.
Hours later, the 33-year-old shared several snapshots of her and her dad when she was a baby.
In all the pictures, Bruce, who is best known for playing the tough guys in Hollywood, looks totally loving and devoted to his role as a father.
Bruce broke into the mainstream thanks to the sitcom Moonlighting, in which he starred alongside Cybill Shepherd from 1985 to 1989. However, it is his roles on the big screen that make him a huge star, particularly the series Die Hard, in which he plays Policeman John McClain. He also starred in several other songs such as Pulp Fiction and The Sixth Sense.
Aphasia, the disease he suffers from, can cause a complete or partial loss of the ability to communicate as well as understand written and spoken language.
