When the social cohesion of a city depends on its color

All the turmoil against this rise in crime is surprising Tricia Harris, an African American who lives in the Cascade Heights neighborhood of southwest Atlanta.

It’s a much more dangerous neighborhood here than Buckhead, and it’s the safest neighborhood in the area. Do you know the expression “pay for broken pots”? Income inequality is so great in Atlanta that thugs go where the money is, but violent crime, robberies, murders, and robberies happen outside of Buckhead. Unfortunately, these are often crimes that black people are involved in.

In this seemingly peaceful middle-class neighborhood with a strong African American domination, in contrast to Buckhead, who are mostly white and well-to-do, the segregation project is most concerned about the devastating impact on families.

What Buckhead needs to understand is that it’s not an island, says Tricia Harris. Creating a city will only make the situation worse because it will cut tax revenue by 29% for Atlanta and 20 to 30% for the public school system, which is disastrous for us.
