In fact, the PlayStation Cup will be held every week from July 7, allowing players to try three times to qualify for the final, where only the top 33 from each region will get a place and the chance to win a portion of the $230,800. In play for the occasion.
To begin with, it is worth remembering that, as its name suggests, only players who have a Sony console will be able to participate, especially since it must necessarily be on PS4 or PS5. The three qualifying cups will be played in a different playing mode, i.e. Architect, Arsenal and Traditional.
Qualifications
Qualification 1 is based on Architect Mode which gives players the opportunity to modify structures created by players including opponents. On the other hand, Qualification 2 will use the Arsenal start mode, where all players start with a pre-set arsenal. As for Qualifier 3, it will be a traditional one-on-one competition, and unfortunately for some, it will be with builds.
At the end of Qualifiers 1 and 2, the top 33 players will receive their entry ticket to the final on July 24, while Qualifier 3 will be the top 34 players.
The final match takes place in 6 parts and lasts about 3 hours. It is important to remember that the first game starts ten minutes after the session window opens and the new game will start automatically 30 minutes after the previous one. Organizers state that “if a team does not appear or miss the start of any game, it will be considered last (or restricted to last) with no disqualifications for that game.”
