Last season was particularly eventful for Jordan Harris. He played his final season for the first time under the Northeastern University strongman, wearing a “C” on his jersey, before signing his first professional contract with the Montreal Canadiens.
The defender arrived in the capital at the end of the season and had the opportunity to play ten matches for the big club. He also took the opportunity to score his first goal with the professionals.
After all, now is the time for the youngster to get excited for the upcoming season, his first in the Pros. And yes, for those wondering, Harris is on to the rest of things, and he’s the one who seems eager to resume activities with a vengeance.
We know that His goal for next year is to play as much as possible, whether in Montreal or Laval. And seeing him open the door to playing games there is, in my opinion, a great example of humility.
However, the defender has done everything in his power this summer in order to return to the best of his abilities. He said in an interview with Simon-Olivier Lorang of La Presse that he has worked hard in the past few months to return to the top, which is a successful goal according to the young player.

Fighting for a place in the top six among the defenders will be a lot of fun to follow when the boot camp opens. We should expect some competition with those who will try to break through and that’s good news.
Jordan Harris has got a taste of the National Hockey League and knows what it takes to become a regular defensive player in the Big League. Note that CH’s new head coach, Stephane Rubidas, confirms that he wants to see Harris follow his instincts.
It remains to be seen how the young defender will respond on the ice.
