Phil SpencerThe CEO of Microsoft Gaming has confirmed the arrival of some upcoming games from the Activision Blizzard division on their platform game arcade.
Video game fans will be glad to see it Call of Duty, Overwatch And the Diablo Add yourself to the Game Pass catalog!
The press release comes in connection with the announcement, last January, of Microsoft’s desire to acquire Activision Blizzard.
When discussing Microsoft’s expansion plans, Phil Spencer made it clear that he wanted “to reach billions of gamers wherever they are, no matter what device they’re playing on,” in particular “through the creation of Game Pass, which offers players the option to subscribe and by offering more games on Platforms (…)”
“We intend to make Activision Blizzard’s beloved game library available on Game Pass and grow these gaming communities.”
The deal is still subject to the terms and approval of Activision Blizzard shareholders and is expected to close in 2023, but Microsoft is already thinking big about the future of Activision Blizzard within the company!
