After the Lions, Vikings, Leaders, Jaguars and Cardinals, the Eagles made the Dallas Cowboys their last victim on their roster. Against a team that has lost only one of its five games this season, Philadelphia scored a 26-17 victory to remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL this season.
With this win over their division rival, the Eagles (6-0) stayed in place atop the National East, ahead of the New York Giants (5-1) and the Cowboys (4-2).
However, it was not without hard work and without the need to show resilience that the Eagles managed to escape with victory. After a perfect start to the game, which saw them take a 20-0 lead, everything collapsed for Philadelphia, who saw the Cowboys approach three short points.
The Eagles opened the scoring for the first time early in the second quarter with a five-yard run from Miles Sanders for a touchdown. Then, moments later, AJ Brown accepted a 15-yard pass thrown by Jalen Hurts to double his lead philly. Two field goals from Jake Elliott allowed the Eagles to increase their lead to 20-0.
After scoring their first points with a field goal, the Cowboys opened the machine to close the gap that separated them from the Eagles. Ezekiel Elliott scored the first goal in the 14-yard dash, before seeing Jake Ferguson add another touchdown to make it 20-17.
However, Hurts halted Dallas’ offensive tackle in the fourth quarter by spotting DeVonta Smith for a touchdown. The Eagles managed to convert the two points and went to the end of the match to win.

For his part, Hurts won his ninth straight game in the regular season, the longest active streak in the NFL.
