France Baudouin warned us : You shouldn’t miss it live from the universe from this week. She didn’t lie, because guest Isabel Poulay had many big surprises, and so did we.
First, singer Dee Snyder of the Twisted Sisters came to sing “We Won’t Succeed” with all the necessary passion, under the utterly stunned look of Isabelle Poulay, who even rose from her seat to touch the singer like a true collective.
Then her son came to play the classic violin for his mother, who evidently cried with affection.
That was before seeing the unique Julie Maas, who came out of her musical retirement to perform two of her hit songs at the time: “C’est zero” and “Billy.” By doing so, Julie Maas delivered a nostalgic thrill to all those viewers who never stopped loving her.
Isabelle Boulay’s lover also participated in the show, putting her deep voice on a piece that her partner loves.
Other big names also appeared on the show, including Ingrid St-Pierre, Bello, Patsy Gallant who looked absolutely stunning in her cotton velvet dress, Steve Earl living from New York among others.
It is truly a musical evening not to be missed. Thanks to France Beaudoin and her team for this essential offering, which every Saturday acts as a true heart balm.
We invite you to discover the new Isabel Polay project here.
