K-pop group NCT 127 has ended their first concert in Indonesia after seeing 30 people fainted in a stampede, police said.
Indonesia remains in shock a month after a stampede in a stadium killed more than 130 people, including more than 40 children, and was one of the deadliest disasters in football history.
Two hours after the concert, fans of the boy band crowded the stage, when the group began handing out gifts. Then thirty people fainted. To avoid further incidents, we have decided to end the party at 9:20 PM (2:20 PM GMT),” said police spokesperson Indra Zulpan.

Siva Olya, 19, told AFP that fans in the back rushed to the stage as gifts were distributed before the barriers dissolved.
“We are disappointed with these fans. We were told not to push each other, including the NCT 127 members, but they were selfish. They ignored the safety of others, just to take good pictures,” she added.
Police authorized the second concert of NCT 127 on Saturday, but banned the distribution of gifts to fans and demanded stricter measures to separate fans from performers.

“For the fix, we will be adding more paramedics and security personnel for the second show,” party organizer Dyandra Global Edutainment confirmed on Instagram.
Last weekend, police canceled the third day of the Berdendang Bergoyang Music Festival in Jakarta after nearly 30 people fainted.
More than 150 people were killed in a crowd at a Halloween party in Seoul on the night from Saturday to Sunday, one of the deadliest in a decade.
