Bad weather isn’t over with America; The fury will continue through the weekend as it moves, wreaking havoc in its path.
In its course, it destroyed many parts of the southern states: there were about fifty tornadoes, mainly in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Many citizens are in shock.
“It shook us and then threw us to the ground. Then I got closer and saw the extent of the damage. I couldn’t believe it happened in just eight seconds,” said one in English.
Three people were killed in Louisiana
A mother and her eight-year-old son were thrown from their home. The mother’s body was found under debris on the street, and her son’s body was found in a wooded area.
A 56-year-old woman also died.
Tens of thousands of people were left without electricity in the city of Gretna. The balance sheet is relatively happy, with only three injured on board.
