In Mirepoix, the game library has its own Snoezelen space

The games library at the social center of the Pays de Mirepoix commune enlivens a children’s “snuzzylin'” space that appeals to all five senses, in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

In this space, children will be more attentive to their needs and emotions. The perceived sensations are reassuring, encouraging letting go and relaxing. They lie, sit and twist in space with curiosity, taking the time to explore, feel, and touch what they see around them. It is a real downtime in a nice atmosphere where they will feel safe.

Surrounded by fluorescent and luminous objects (aquariums, balls, sparkling fiber optic lamps, sensory hourglasses of all colors, books, soft toys, music and games), they will be able to relax and discover moments of relaxation. For a better integration, a light table and an educational and fun support will be provided for them to play with the transparency of the objects (colour, shapes, letters and numbers).

The CCPM toy library has proposed a partnership with the Embroidery and Sewing Workshop to produce several pillows and mattresses with printed fabrics on the space theme, in order to decorate and decorate this space for young children.
