The Simpsons have been a part of our culture for a very long timeand a Quebec voice interpreter for one of our favorite characters, Marge, sadly announces her passing.
In fact, Beatrice Pickard She decided to quit at the age of 93, and during an interview with LCN, we learned why the star left Marge’s shoes.
How did you come to the decision: Is The Simpsons enough for me?asks Jean-François Guérin during the interview.
“I have to say it’s like everyone, or for the most part (…) they got COVID. I had it, then at my age, it was a little bit longer and I think I’ve had a long COVID. I got tired faster and I said to myself if I waited until next year, I’ll be 94 when we do The Simpsons. Well, I don’t know what state I’ll be in. So I’d rather not take any chances,” Ms. Picard admitted of her reasons for leaving.
She also adds that she does not want to deprive viewers of watching their favorite show.
