From February 8 to 19, the Tournoi International de Hockey Pee-Wee de Québec will create memories for hundreds of hockey players.
The big news this year: the creation of an all-women division with 12 teams from Canada, the United States and Europe.
The opening celebration for the women’s division will take place on Sunday, February 12, and for this event, the division will be refereed, timed and announced by women. It will oppose Quebec to Atlantic selections.
The establishment of a women’s division at the Tournoi International de Hockey Pee-Wee de Québec did not go unnoticed. Mary Kay Scanlon, a Democratic congresswoman, greeted organizers outside the U.S. House of Representatives.
A tribute to the match was held in the US House of Representatives. An honorable mention for creating our new all-female division.
