A customer of the American company DoorDash strongly denounced the behavior of the delivery man on social networks, when he gave her the gas bill along with the dish that was delivered.

In an excerpt that went viral on TikTok, the customer claims that the delivery man from the food delivery company wanted the lady to pay for the gas, in order to “make up” for the long journey he had taken to get home.
“The DoorDash delivery guy wanted to get reimbursed for his trip, so he gave me the gas bill with my order,” she exasperated.
The gas bill was $28.84.
The comments below user @secretlykarissa’s post are almost unanimous. The person responsible for delivering DoorDash must be familiar with the operation of the US company.
“Does he know DoorDash doesn’t work that way?” asks a surfer.
“He literally decided to do it as a job,” recalls another TikTok user.
A few days after the video was posted, DoorDash responded to the controversy and offered its apologies to the customer.
“This was a truly unfortunate act, and we regret that this happened,” the company wrote.
In recent months, customers of these meal delivery companies have decried the behavior of some people who deliver meals.
In early March, a DoorDash delivery woman confiscated a customer’s food for “low tipping” to the customer.
