Samsung’s upcoming foldable screen smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, is expected to look similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, with one major difference.
“leaky” ice world — famous for his often-true predictions — recently shared some details about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable smartphone, which is set to launch in late summer.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, improved finish?
In particular, we learn that the device will look a lot like its predecessor, starting with an identical 6.2-inch (15.74-centimeter) external screen, which shouldn’t please fans who want a larger screen to make it easier to watch while using certain apps. However, the device should be distinguished by its reduced thickness of 1 mm compared to the Z Fold 4 in folded mode, especially thanks to the disappearance of the unsightly gap between the two halves when the smartphone is folded. In other words, the two halves will – finally – stick together, thanks to a new type of hinge that we have already mentioned on our pages.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, integrated Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor?
Moreover, the unsightly crease in the middle of the main screen should also disappear, and the device will weigh 254 grams, 9 grams less than its predecessor. There are no changes on the camera side, but naturally the processor has been replaced by a more efficient model, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 already used in the latest Galaxy S23 range.
