Don’t miss the duel between the Alouettes and the Lions on RDS and RDS.ca starting at 7 p.m.
Looking to wake up offensively after a three-point performance against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last week, the Montreal Alouettes visit the BC Lions tonight.
The sparrows made changes to the receiving group. Quartney Davis and Tyler Snead will make their CFL debuts joining Austin Mack, Keion Julian-Grant and Hergy Mayala. Last week, Julian Grant caught all six passes thrown to him for 129 yards while Mack caught six passes for 115 yards, including 93 in the fourth quarter alone.
Conversely, Montreal’s defense looks well organized. In three games this season, the defensive unit has allowed no more than 17 points a game. The last time Montreal launched a campaign like this was in 2004.
Cody Fajardo and Vernon Adams Jr. will be the starting quarterbacks.
Adams leads the CFL in interceptions with eight, including six at the hands of the Toronto Argonauts last week.
The Lions will be looking to join the Bombers at the top of the Western Division with a four-win-loss record.
