This afternoon, at 4pm, Real Madrid will travel to Los Angeles to begin their US tour. Two cantaranos will be on the trip.
During this tour, Carlo Ancelotti will be able to test his ideas for next season, test new recruits, and why not play for the only two Castilla youngsters who will go to America this summer: they are Alvaro. Rodriguez and Nico Paz.
A third, Mario Martin, was also supposed to make the tour, but ultimately won’t make the trip due to injury. Other canteranos, such as Sergio Arribas, Rafa Marín or Dotor, look for new places and stay in Madrid.
Nico Paz and Alvaro Rodriguez are players that Real Madrid hold in high esteem. The latter will, in principle, be part of the first team, bolstering the attack with his 1.91m height and his good fighting spirit, as he already proved when he got the chance to play with the A’s.

Similarly, Nico Paz, an attacking midfielder, will be part of the trip in favor of Brahim or Arda Guler, but he would be a good option to bring depth from the bench. With his quality, vision and good ball play, Argentina’s Nico Paz is one of the pearls of the academy and is destined to lead Castilla’s next project.
