In addition to these exceptional events, all workshops, activities and exhibitions will be accessible to the public throughout the summer, including in particular:

Workshop “How does the European Space Agency recruit astronauts?”: A fun and engaging workshop to understand the essential skills to become European astronauts

“The Moon, Episode 2”: An immersive exhibition to understand current lunar exploration and the upcoming scientific challenges that must be met to achieve the return of astronauts to the moon within a few years

“Rovers come to the arena!” : Animated display of Mars discovery and Mars robots in a very realistic Martian crater. Immersive and lively animation that allows you to get up close and personal with replicas (both in real size and in motion) of the last two Mars landers: Perseverance and Jurong.

Asteroid Hunters 3D: IMAX® 3D movie. By immersing ourselves in the film, the audience discovers the research of scientists who work, day in and day out, to protect our planet and humans from possible asteroid impacts.

“Little Town”: Entirely intended for children from 4 to 8 years old, Cité des petits offers 100% immersive animation, devices and decorations on a toddler scale.

“Beyond the Stars”: An interactive show that takes spectators aboard the planetarium, this “ship” that takes them on a journey through the solar system, and then into the cosmos.

Make your own little rocket. This activity will be introduced to families with children to understand how to build a rocket first, and then children will be able to create a small rocket and launch it by themselves. In this way, children will be able to ‘hands-on’ and participate in their spatial discoveries. Entertainment is offered every day from July 31 to August 20, 2023.
