A security guard who rose to fame after a video of him performing at a Taylor Swift concert went viral after asking members of the public to take pictures of him during the show.

Calvin Dunker was photographed by fans of the singer singing the song Cruel summer At the foot of the US Bank Stadium stage last June in Minneapolis. Almost 3 million people have watched her performance footage on TikTok.
The young man used his newfound notoriety to share his story. The latter explained that his position as a security guard allowed him to be very close to the singer during her performance.
“I really wanted to document this experience,” he explained. The latter had found a solution to circumvent his company’s rules that prevent him from turning his back on the public or using his phone during his shift.
“I handed out slips of paper to people in the front row to ask them to photograph me when Taylor Swift came up behind me,” he says.
The many photos of him and the singer cost him his job.
“The HR person who broke the news couldn’t tell me what I had done wrong, other than to take a picture of me,” he explains. I always made sure Taylor Swift was safe.”
Many netizens asked the singer to hire a security guard.
Others have also suggested that Calvin Dunker consult a lawyer in order to get his job back.
