Entering the tournament, the Australians beat the Georgians (35-15), who have won the 6 Nations B tournament by most this year. The Wallabies started the encounter very strongly, scoring two tries in less than 10 minutes following some great teamwork. They dominate this first act for the most part, facing tough but highly undisciplined Georgians. Winger Modebatse received a yellow card just before half-time. Despite their lack of numbers, Lelos managed to score a try in the 47th minute. But their lack of clarity and accuracy in attacking phases hinders them from executing their actions. The Wallabies knew how to take advantage, bringing the score to 35-8 and getting the attacking bonus. A last Georgian try scored late in the match will still give them hope for the rest of the match. In the next day of group stages, the Australians will face the Fijians, while the Georgians will face the Portuguese.
