The famous pop artist took advantage of this epidemic to launch a book today that includes hundreds of selfies, from her early childhood to adulthood.
Billie Eilish apparently wanted to please her fans by revealing herself infrequently in this 300-page book, the French version of which is titled Billie Eilish Billie Eilish.
At the start of the book, the singer says, “I’ve always had a real passion for pictures. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a photographer later. Not because I was good, just because I liked the pictures.”
She continues, “I don’t want this book to be boring, I hope it’s like an album you can have. I don’t want to explain everything to you. I want to give you a whole lot of pictures that speak for themselves.”
Billy kept her word. Browsing through the book, we were surprised to see how the 19-year-old California shamelessly ditched herself.
We see her when she was only a few weeks old, in the arms of her older brother Phineas. Then, as she discovers her first instrument, a guitar and a mini piano.
We follow her more often in her teens, in her many colorful outfits. Many of the pictures don’t put Billy in her favor at all and instead show her totally natural.
Of course, a large portion of the book revolves around his career in the past four or five years. We follow the singer on tour and on her music video collections.
The book is read as a true family photo album and will undoubtedly appeal greatly to fans of the singer.
