The 32nd edition of the Science Festival will take place from October 6 to 16 across France. For the first time, it will also be held in Grau-du-Roi. This national event was born from the initiative of Hubert Coren (former Minister of Higher Education and Research), who in the spring of 1991 decided to open the doors of the Research Ministry to the public. A symbolic gesture calling on science and citizens to exchange and disseminate knowledge. This is how thousands of scientific, cultural and educational players come together every October. The goal: to share with the public their enthusiasm for science, technologies and innovations through many free events about scientific culture, while maintaining a fun and festive approach. With the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the 2023 edition of the Science Festival will carry the slogan “Sports and Science.”
In Grau du Roi, a week of free activities to promote their field, aimed at all audiences, will be organized in the square in front of the town hall from 9:30 am on Saturday 7 October.
All event partners will propose an activity and present their program for the week in the mini science village prepared for the occasion.
