While the game was still close, Enzo DeHolo scored his first career touchdown with 15 seconds left in the second quarter. The latter had an excellent encounter, achieving two very important goals.
In the third quarter, Isaac Gaillarditz made a brilliant individual effort to reach the end zone and score his team’s second touchdown, after receiving a pass from Arnaud Desjardins.
The Rouge et Or will also be able to thank kicker Vincent Blanchard. He made five field goals, including one from 45 yards, and two more from 38 and 36 yards.
Laval ranks second in the standings with three wins and one loss. In their case, the Stingers recorded their second defeat this season.
Université Laval Rouge et Or will go to Stade Percival Molson to take on McGill University next week.
