David Reinbacher’s knee has avoided the worst and the defender will be out for one to three weeks.
The Canadian player, who is currently playing in Kloten, Switzerland, obtained the results of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on Monday, which confirms that the defender did not suffer a fracture, according to journalist Anthony Martino.
However, Reinbacher is in pain and will have to undergo physical therapy treatments.
This is really good news for CH in the first round of 2023. Last Friday, he left his team’s match against Friborg after suffering a knock.
The defender lost his balance and hit the boards. He tried to return to the game after that, but was eventually forced to give up and return to the locker room.
Reinbacher’s injury came in only his third game this season.
