A few days before Halloween, the Saint-Denis Theater replaced the traditional red carpet with an ebony one for the premiere of the musical. The Addams Family. The slogan of the artists and personalities invited to the event: wear their best black clothes.
So many of them accepted this invitation from director René Simard to reconnect with Gomez, Morticia and their partners. This time, the famous Addams clan are reunited on stage to celebrate their traditional annual family bash.
The film’s characters were brought to the screen by director Barry Sonnenfeld in 1991 The Addams Family First born in pages The New Yorker Set in the 1930s, Gomez, Morticia, and their gang finally made the leap to Broadway stages in 2010, headlined by Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth. The Quebec version of the show counts on Rita Cook (Morticia), Luc Guerin (Gomez), Alexandra Sicard (Wednesday) and Tommy Joubert (Uncle Fetted) in the lead.
