Joshua Roy feels a change in perception towards him

Although he has had an excellent start to the season with the Laval Rocket, Joshua Roy knows he is still far from the ultimate goal.

At least that’s what he said in an interview with TVA Sports on Tuesday.

“So far things are going well for me. The goal is really just to work hard. If you work, you will be successful. That’s what I want to do every night. Once I got to Laval, I had the opportunity. They trusted me from the beginning.”

The guy who has collected 12 points in 10 games with the Rocket so far this season doesn’t worry about stats. For him, this process is much more important.

“My goal is not to finish the season with a certain number of points. I’m really focused on the way I play. I want to adapt my game to the professional level. That’s really what I’m focusing on. No matter how many points I score, I won’t be happy if I’m not happy with the way I play.” “I played with it. My focus is really on that.”

But Al-Kibi admits that he feels that the perception of him has changed.

“The perception has changed a lot between the fans and the organization. I’m happy with the way things are going right now, but it’s only been a month. I still have a lot of work to do if I want to get where I want to go. Certainly, if I get the call “One day, I will jump for joy. But I don’t want to think about it too much. I trust the leaders.”

Collectively, Roy believes good things are coming for the Rockets.

“We still have a young team. I think it shows. But we have a talented team and it will open up eventually. You just have to start working and playing the right way. Through that we will be able to win a lot of games.”
