Wraps of gift wrap flew everywhere at a grocery store in London, England, where a fight reportedly broke out between two groups of customers on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, employees of the British grocery chain Aldi were forced to intervene between two groups that were hitting each other with gift wrap while throwing other objects at each other, according to photos shared on the “X” platform, reported by “The Sun.” Which reached more than 300,000 views on Wednesday.
At least ten people intervened in the quarrel between two women and another, while a grocery cart was placed between the two groups to try to calm things down.
“Stop, stop,” we can see a woman shouting at the other two, while we can see them grabbing about ten rolls of packaging in turn, like a projectile, through the melee.
It is not clear what led to the outbreak of the battle, while the London Metropolitan Police, contacted by the British media, have not yet issued any comment.
On social networks, many Internet users were quick to laugh at the battle, comparing it in particular to an attempt to “imitate Black Friday in Florida,” as we read.
Another commented: “Yes, time to start Christmas shopping now.”
