There were six games scheduled yesterday in the NHL, and that’s what caught the attention.
1. Jakub Cichron returns to the locker room with the Dallas Stars
Last night we enjoyed a very funny moment in the game between the Dallas Stars and Ottawa Senators.
In fact, in this game, which the Stars won 5 to 4, we witnessed an unusual sight, as Senators outfielder Jacob Chychrun returned to the locker room with the Dallas Stars.
I’ll let you observe this for yourself.

It really is a very comedic moment to see a player going down the same tunnel as the opposing team, while the rest of his team takes another route.
It’s also funny to see that none of the star players are surprised by the situation, and that none of them are trying to stop Chychrun.
So there has to be a logical explanation for all of this, right?
Cicero did not take the wrong path in trying to turn around teams fed up with the Ottawa Senators, although that is understandable.
From what I understand, Chikhrun was injured in the face and therefore had to pass through the infirmary to receive treatment, this infirmary can be accessed most easily via the main tunnel.
In short, it doesn’t matter, he gave us a funny moment and some unusual photos.
This was not the only strange element in this match, as we were subjected to a goalkeeping nightmare at the beginning of the match, to say the least.
2. First goal in his first NHL game for 6-foot-8 junior Adam Edstrom
The New York Rangers are one of the best teams in the entire NHL this season, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.
They have a great squad that is very well built, and even when a new player joins the squad, he finds a way to stand out.
In fact, last night, 23-year-old Adam Edstrom played in his first NHL game and took the opportunity to score his first career goal.

As you’ve probably noticed from the sequence, the Rangers’ sixth-round pick (161st overall) in 2019 is big, very big in fact.
Well, actually, Edstrom is quite tall, standing at 6 feet 8 inches tall.
He is only the seventh player 6-foot-8 or taller to play in the NHL.
3. The second goal of the season by Alexander Romanov
The former Montreal Canadiens defenseman shined last night, scoring his second goal of the season in the New York Islanders’ 5-4 shootout loss to the Boston Bruins.

As for the game overall, as always, the Bruins found a way to get the two points.
Many thanks to Linus Ullmark.

4. Zach Benson and Alex Tuch have fun against the Stanley Cup champions
For a 13th overall pick in the last draft, Zach Benson performed very well in his rookie season.
Few people saw players other than the top 3 players in 2023 (Connor Bedard, Leo Karlsson and Adam Fantelli) play in the NHL in their first season.
Well, Zach Benson has proven otherwise, as he has established himself more and more in the Buffalo Sabers lineup.
Last night, he made two very good plays in 1 minute and 43 seconds against the Stanley Cup Champions.
here they are.

It also allowed Alex Tuch to find the back of the net against his former team.
In short, Benson continues to shine, as he has 10 points (four goals and six assists) in 21 games.
5. Two goals in 19 seconds for the Hurricanes
In an absolutely crazy game between the Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators, the Canes scored two beautiful goals in a span of 19 seconds.
here they are.
This match finally ended in extra time, when it was Filip Forsberg who gave the victory to the Prédateurs with his 16th goal of the season.
