A kind of open world like Elden Ring mixed with an MMORPG, the creators of Warframe come up with a brand new game that will please a lot of you. Here's 75 minutes of gameplay to see what it's all about.

Canadian company Digital Extremes is best known to MMO fans for Warframe. With Soulframe, they are now planning a new game: a mix of cooperative games and exciting MMORPGs with an open world. Shortly before 2024, the company's president went live on Twitch and showed over an hour of gameplay.

What do we know about Soulframe?

Soulframe should be a mix between a co-op and a game Action MMORPG, with an open world and procedurally generated situations. The game should have a clear fantasy aesthetic – the core of the game is the conflict between technology and nature. The economic model is planned to be free-to-play but that remains to be confirmed.

Soulframe was announced in July 2022, and since then there has been little news regarding the game, but Warframe fans are excited and looking forward to it.

75 minutes of gameplay in Soulframe

Steve Sinclair, President of Digital Extremes, connected to Twitch on December 30, 2023 and showed off 75 minutes of brand new gameplay for Soulframe.

The stream shows among other things:

• combat skills,
• The ability to destroy objects in the environment
• Unlockable skills that turn enemies to stone or send ghosts to enemies – as well as skills that replenish health and mana.
