I don't know if you know Dr. Hargas Grewal. We're talking about a family doctor who, a few years ago, decided to tweet about sports injuries to give his expert perspective.
Obviously a person who is also an advisor to fantasy doctors, Which provides injury updates to swimmers, and brings with it experience that isn't always found elsewhere.
Doctors who do this are rare.
Dr. Grewal decided yesterday to comment on Josh Anderson's injury. The CH player, who left the game against the Stars on Tuesday, may not be able to avoid the worst.
Why? Because the doctor mentioned the possibility of an ACL injury, an injury that could realistically take at least six months to heal.
Hockey equipment obscures the finer details but there are concerns about tears of the ACL (more than 6 months), ACL (depends on grade) and/or meniscus (4-6 weeks if torn, more than 4 months if Fixed) as well as a bone bruise for Josh Anderson
Probably will update tomorrow after MRI https://t.co/q0z3om9Td0

Note: He did not say that this is definitely what the player has. What he said is that this is one of the theories that has to be put forward in light of his recent injury.
The fact that he was not examined and watched footage while wearing his gear are factors to take into consideration.
It may also be the internal collateral ligament or meniscus (four months out in case of surgery) that is affected. Let's also not underestimate the possibility that a bone bruise is the cause of all this.
These are not reassuring indicators, that.
Obviously, let's wait before we start breaking things. Perhaps the Canadian, who is scheduled to give his news this morning on the sidelines of training (which takes place at 10:30 a.m.), will indicate something else after his examination.
But I want to tell you not to hold your breath for too long: expect CH to pull a Laval missile to replace him and/or Christian Dvorak, who was also injured.
