In recent matches, things have gone well for David Reinbacher.
My colleague Marc-Olivier Cook also provided a summary of his latest matches yesterday.
But since the start of the season, things have not necessarily been rosy, to the point where he has fallen down the rankings of top prospects. At least Mark Dumont. The former Montreal employee ranks seventh among the Austrians.
It's time for another edition of #GoHabsGo Potential power rankings!
Lots of action, with a familiar prospect taking center stage.
Defenseman Logan Mailloux made the biggest jump on the list, while Owen Beck moved back into the top three.

For information, Dumont rated the prospects (A group of B/B aspirants, according to Simon Boisvert) Using their statistics from December 16th until January 30th. A little over a month of sampling, then.
Reinbacher is an excellent candidate and is in the top three among many experts, the first in the field Simon Boisvert and Martin Theriault. When I saw where he stood in the Dumont rankings, I jumped, especially when I saw the players ahead of him.
Len Hutson is clearly in the front row, followed by Jacob Fowler (2), Owen Beck (3), Logan Maylox (4), Joshua Roy (5) and Philippe Messar (6).
Dumont realizes that Reinbacher is playing for a struggling team and that lack of stability behind the bench is a big factor. But who is there to put Owen Beck, the man destined to play on the third line, in the top three? It is true that he has picked up more points since leaving Peterborough, but I have a problem with that point. Same story for Philippe Messar. He's playing very well in the OHL this season, but he's playing against young players, while the right defender is facing guys.
The right-hander is polarizing, Mark Dumont said, but he's still one of the team's top prospects. It's no coincidence that so many teams wanted to advance to the final draft to get him.
After Reinbacher, Adam Engstrom, Bogdan Konyushkov and Cédric Guindon completed the top ten. So no Luke Tuch or Emil Heinemann. In Tuch's case, one Platform
The creator of the rating replied that he plays with two of the best players in the country (Len Hutson and McLean Celebrini) and produces at a decent rate, nothing more.
The problem with Totch is that his production has been a mirage. He plays on the top line with MacLean Celebrini and is fed from the blue line by Len Hutson.
He's playing with two of the best players in the country, and the production is on point.
