High-ranking French civil servant Anicea Morel has been appointed to two posts of great importance to Franco-British cultural relations. Since February 6, 2024, Ms. Hélène Duchene, French Ambassador to the United Kingdom, has directed the French Institute of the United Kingdom alongside her duties as Cultural Adviser.
Who is Anisia Moral?
Anicia Moral joined the French civil service in 2008 after working at the National School of Administration (ENA) and became auditor of the Council of State in 2010. Along with her judicial activities, Anisia Morel was also regularly called upon as a legal advisor. Within the Ministry of External Affairs.

In 2015, Anicia Morel joined the British Foreign Office as Senior Policy Planner responsible for strategic affairs in the Eastern Europe region. He later spent several years as Political Counselor at the French Embassy in the United Kingdom.
In 2022, Anicia Moral, who was appointed adviser for global affairs, United Nations and international organizations in the office of Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna, then returned to the Council of State as Master of Requests.
The appointment of Anisia Morel as Director of the French Institute in the United Kingdom today begins a new chapter in Franco-British cultural collaborations.
