Recently, John Tortorella has been talked about. Why? Because… he's wrong.
It was by putting Sean Couturier aside that he got people talking. A month after the veteran was appointed as club captain, he removed him from their roster by refusing to speak to the media.
This created the “tortorella” situation we often see.

The situation obviously caused some buzz, but it also got people talking at TVA Sports. Why do I say that? Because Michel Bergeron commented on the case and did not hesitate to bring accusations against Tortorella.
We are talking here about accusations against French-speaking Quebecers. Sean Couturier is not from Quebec, but we get his point of view.
What he says is that by remembering the stories about Andre Roy, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Anthony Duclair and there with Sean Couturier, we see that the coach often attacks the players here.

It is true that these are four Frenchmen who played with him and perhaps did not enjoy every second of their cooperation with the coach… but at the same time, Tourtes is stupid with everyone.
We can also give Martin St. Louis as a counterexample. They have a very beautiful relationship.
Michel Bergeron then spoke about Daniel Briere, the Cuban who is the president of Tortorella. Bergeron believes Torts is taking advantage of the GM's inexperience to give him a quick shot.
He even wondered about this:
The other thing I'm telling myself is that Daniel Briere was just named general manager of the Philadelphia Flyers. I wonder how much Tortorella respects Daniel Briere… -Michel Bergeron
Note in this thread that Sean Couturier will likely miss this evening's game. However, I don't know if the coach is attacking him because he speaks French or because he plays poorly.
In my opinion, Torts wants to win more than anything…but I could be wrong.
It looks like Sean Couturier will be scratched again tonight.
