Cold records were noticed on Friday in several regions of Quebec, lowering the rating of trademarks registered several decades ago to a record 104 years.

Environment Canada indicated Friday that “the air mass that settled in Quebec brought its share of freshness, and early this morning, a few records were broken low on May 28”.
In Quebec, the old minimum record goes back to 1917 of -0.6 points.
Now required is -1.1 recorded score on Friday morning.
In the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, Val-d’Or recorded a record temperature of -5.6 degrees compared to -3.3 degrees in 1992.
In Mont-Tremblant, the -2.8 mark was surpassed in 2008 by -3.1 on May 28, 2021.
At L’Etape, the mercury dropped to -5 degrees, which is also a record against the previous mark recorded in 1994 of -4.2 degrees.
The hot weather we witnessed last week will not be repeated this weekend. The federal agency predicts generally sunny weather for most regions with temperatures between 11 and 15 degrees.
