“The people you imagine, we hope they will be there,” says his friend Paul Dupont-Hébert, who is co-organizing the event.
When asked about the specific presence of Celine Dion and Ginette Reno, with whom the late witch joined these ladies on stage for an unforgettable interpretation of the song. A little higher, a little furtherat the Plains of Abraham, in 2008, Mr. DuPont-Hébert explained that informal discussions had already taken place and that formal invitations would be sent.

The adults will be there
Besides Céline, Genette, and her lover and theater partner, Julie-Anne Saumur, the list of artists who could appear at the Cathédrale Marie-Reine du Monde is long.
“We can think of Melissa Bedard, who was his backup singer for several years, and the people who were in [la comédie musicale] Mrs. Simpson, who did not get the life he wanted. “There were many people around Jean-Pierre, artistic and friendly,” adds Paul Dupont-Hébert.
There will definitely be many big names in Quebec song. “All the people of his time, Robert, Diane, Claude, Gilles. Those who made the jukeboxes, who were on the same stages and at the same time as him.
