Bicycles will invade the streets of Montreal starting Friday during the Tour de l'Île, an event that will close many streets until Sunday.
The Tour la Nuit and Tour de l'Île de Montréal will take place on May 31 and June 2, respectively.
The streets through which participants will pass will be closed to traffic and parking will be prohibited for several hours.
On Friday, the 24-kilometre route of the Tour la Nuit will include detours in the neighborhoods of Plateau-Mont-Royal, Ville-Marie and Sud-Ouest.

Scheduled for Sunday, the Tour de l'Île will offer cyclists two 28- and 50-kilometre courses spread across the neighborhoods of Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont-la-Petite-Patrie, Outremont, Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-de-Grâce, Westmount, South-West, LaSalle, Lachine, Verdun, and Ville. Marie.
