The American singer's concert at Parc Jean-Drapeau, as part of the Canadian Grand Prix, was canceled on Saturday evening, about 30 minutes before the start.
Thousands of people came to watch the artist perform in Montreal.
Show ticket seller Evenko confirmed the cancellation to TVA Nouvelles via email.
According to a photo sent by a festival-goer, the rapper canceled his concert after a mechanical problem occurred with the plane.

Many festival-goers reportedly waited hours to hear the news. On X, a man denounces that his daughter is “freezing” and “wet” while waiting for the subway. Traffic will start due to hundreds, if not thousands, of people trying to return home.
“Ivenko, how long have you known that pitbull [n’]Won't you lead? Were you hoping to empty the jackpot position first? Denounced on the social network.
“Pitbull isn't here and I feel like they've known for a while and didn't tell us,” another user wrote.
Everyone will be automatically compensated, according to Evenko.
The doors opened at five in the evening for festival visitors.
