“One thing I will do [cet été], is eating well using my grill. But here I feel worried. Should I make a second grill if the first one explodes? Jean Talon asks PQ MP Pascal Paradis in the satirical video.
The video continues with the MP for Ile de la Madeleine and official spokesman for transport, Joël Arsenault, who says that he needs two edgings to maintain his garden, and ends with the MP for Matagne, Pascal Bérubé, who declares that he “runs his own 'fern'”, an expression dear to a minister Transport Genevieve Guilbeault “But if I have a problem with the first, I have a problem with economic security,” he asserts.
Second account
When it was published, PQ added: “We were thinking of opening a second account on X… in case the first one collapses. It's a matter of economic security!”
The CAQ has reiterated in all forums since last week that the third link is necessary for matters of “economic security”, if the Pierre Laporte Bridge is to be closed for an extended period.
CDPQ Infrared Report
In the CDPQ Infra report, we do not recommend creating a third link, arguing that the traffic does not justify it, that the time savings would be minimal and the limitations are too great. CDPQ Infra ruled that such infrastructure would increase congestion rather than relieve it.
