At almost all dinners, there are candles. We are so lucky to have each other, and smart enough to realize that. I had my children with my first wife, and I would say there were things that didn't work out. I went to therapy. I promised life and myself that I would learn to love properly. My breakup wasn't easy, and I wanted my kids to see afterward that I had actually learned.

What type of treatment did you undergo?

I broke up when I was 44, so I was seeing a psychiatrist regularly, I would say from 43 to 50. Today I see him from time to time. He saved me.

In what way?

Meaning I worked a lot and was home a little. I had to review all my values, because I was fading, in a way. When we work a lot, it seems like our job defines us. Fortunately, when the pandemic hit, I had already done some work on myself. I wanted to grow as a person, a father, and a lover.
