Corbis Bay, UK (Reuters) – Britain on Thursday announced a partnership with the United States to tackle new diseases by strengthening disease surveillance and genetic sequences around the world.
“The whole world needs access to sophisticated surveillance and deployment technologies from the United Kingdom and the United States to prevent the spread of this virus and the spread of future diseases,” the British health minister said.
“Through this new historic partnership with our closest partner, we share our expertise with the world so that we can work together to prevent the spread of future epidemics to protect people everywhere,” said Matt Hancock.
