In the wake of a 2-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Leggings, New York Islanders coach Barry Trotz on Friday was toying with the idea of making changes to his roster in preparation for the fourth installment of the series.
This is what emerged from his press conference, where his club fell 2-1 in the semi-final against “Al Baraghi”.

“We’re looking at that,” the 58-year-old said about potential changes to match four. We played a very strong match. However, we need to access the corresponding network more regularly. Sometimes it’s just inches. We will also need a better start to the game.”
But Trotz expressed a certain reservation.
He said, “They don’t always work on changes. I owe it to myself knowing my group and my trios very well. This group is not used to a lot of changes.”

The Islanders coach has also indicated that he wants to see Anthony Boveler return to the player who was in the first two rounds of the current playoffs.
Quebec, who is forming a hat-trick with Brooke Nelson and Josh Bailey, scored 11 points (4-7) in 12 games before reaching the semi-finals. In three matches against Lightning, native Sorrell Tracy was disqualified from the scoring sheet.
“I think ‘Beau’ can play on another level,” Trotz said. I would say it is currently neutralized. It’s a little bit because of the triple. I need all three players to play a little better.”
“But I have to give credit to the Tampa Bay players, who are doing a great job neutralizing this unit. We’re going to need them. Regarding Anthony, I find he doesn’t know the departure we’d like him to know in this series. I know him and I know this trio and I know they’re going to address the situation.”
We will see on Saturday evening, during the fourth meeting, whether Bouvier and his three companions have understood the message of their coach.
